About Otay Water District
Otay Water District is a publicly owned water and sewer service agency. Its ordinances, policies, taxes and rates for service are set by five Directors, elected by voters in their respective divisions to serve staggered, four-year terms on its Governing Board. The board meets on the first Wednesday of each month at 3:30 pm and the public is invited. In addition, the District is one of the fastest growing water districts and currently has a growing service area of approximately 125.5 square miles of southeastern San Diego County, California. There are approximately 148 employees working for the District.
Located in Spring Valley, approximately 15 miles southeast of downtown San Diego, the District is close to all the cultural, educational, and recreational amenities of a large southern California metropolitan area without the daily congestion. The District takes pride in providing reliable, high-quality products, services, and support.
