WHAT:  Reservoir Interior and Exterior Recoating and Upgrades.  The official name of the reservoir is the 624-2 Reservoir (the reservoir's name relates to its location above sea level, and that it is one of two reservoirs serving your community or pressure zone).  The 624-2 Reservoir has a capacity of 8.1 million gallons.

WHERE:  2024 Chateau Court, Chula Vista, CA

WHEN:  January 27, 2014 through June 30, 2014 (estimated)

WHO:  Otay Water District (OWD) and Advance Industrial Services, Inc. (AIS)

WHY:  Recoating reservoirs is standard maintenance that preserves the quality and safety of your water supply by maintaining the integrity of the storage structure.  Customers save money over time when routine maintenance is performed on a regular basis.

Noise and traffic disruptions are not anticipated.  No water service disruptions are expected during the recoating and upgrade work since this pressure zone is also served by the 12 million gallon 624-1 Reservoir.
