DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

The Engineering Department, under the general direction of the Chief of Engineering, provides the following support services:  Planning, Design, Construction Management, Inspection Project Management, Public Services, and Surveying of all District facilities. We are responsible for strategic planning, capital budget, water resources planning, support facilities planning, environmental services, quality control, construction, developer designed and constructed facilities, along with coordinating assigned activities with other District departments and outside agencies.  We provide highly responsible and complex administrative and technical support to the District, General Manager, and the Board of Directors.
