The District can help your bottom line with conservation programs designed for you. Businesses can achieve significant water savings through device retrofits and water-efficient landscape practices. Rebates & Incentives-Businesses, (industrial, commercial, institutional) served by the Otay Water District, including large landscapes.

The District offers a number of rebates to improve water efficiency both indoors and out. For more information regarding rebates available for businesses, visit the MWD's SoCal WaterSmart website. (NEW) Water Savings Incentive Program 

This program is open to all commercial, industrial, institutional, agricultural, and large landscape customers with qualifying projects receiving water from the Otay Water District. Incentives are paid based on the amount of water saved as a result of the project, subject to available funding. The incentive payment amount is up to $0.60 per 1,000 gallons saved per year over the project life, up to a maximum of 10 years. Incentives are limited to 50% of the eligible project costs. Eligible costs directly pertain to the project installation or water management services including audits, design, engineering, construction, equipment and materials.

Multi-family Complexes

Multi-family complexes with 4 or more units are eligible for the $75 rebate for high efficiency toilets, in addition to the incentives noted in the link just above.
